Well, to further traumatize us, Friedkin premiered his newest film called The Devil And Father Amorth.The documentary followed the late Father Gabriele Amorth as he performed his ninth exorcism on an Italian woman while Friedkin recorded it. Sitting down with at the Venice Film Festival, Friendkin told the source that the experience was terrifying: “I went from being afraid of what could happen to feeling a great deal of empathy with this woman’s pain and suffering, which is obvious in the film.” The documentary was an idea that Friedkin was playing around with, and after meeting Father Amortha, Friedkin was then given permission to film one of the many exorcisms that Father Amorth performed. The whole trailer is pretty terrifying, and we're not really sure if we want to go see the movie in real life Though we probably will. As scary as it may be, it's totally worth seeing the director of The Exorcist record an actual exorcism. The Exorcist ended up win two academy words; one for best screen play, and the other for best sound. In 2007 The Exorcist was considered the scariest movie of all by Entertainment Weekly. This movie is based on a true story, true events, and true situations. This movie was actually based on a little boy who had an exorcism performed on him for over a few months in 1949. If an individual lives for horror then this is a must see movie, if you haven't already seen it. In this movie there are amazing special effects that are known to scare individuals. Some of the special effects in this movie include; 360 head spin, levitation, spider walking down the stairs, moving objects and furniture, along with the shaking bed.
